Scozia Horse Trekking
Scozia Horse Trekking offers people without horse access the chance to connect, learn and ride. Our philosophy is simple: horses are partners, not tools. Sessions focus on trust, confidence and harmony, with safety, welfare and enjoyment at the core. Whether exploring the Pentland Hills or improving your riding, every experience is calm, positive and rewarding for both horse and rider.
Each rider will be assessed before the activity, and must inform me of their riding level in advance. (Scozia is the Italian word for Scotland)

MEET THE TEAM:

NESS
Ness is a Welsh Cob Cross D and our trusted assistant, the wisest of the team. As the most experienced horse, she leads the way with calm confidence, looking after everyone and ensuring each ride is safe, smooth and enjoyable.

SHADOW
Shadow is an Irish Cob with a kind heart and an unshakeable calm. A true gentleman, he’s part of the team to look after our riders, helping them feel safe, relaxed and fully enjoy the experience. Quite simply, Shadow is the best boy ever.

RAIN
Rain is a true Dartmoor Pony Hill with a big heart and a gentle soul. She looks after children aged 4–8, specialising in lead rein and stable activities, while also helping adults grow in confidence. Small, kind, and affectionate, she’s a much-loved pony who makes every experience feel safe and joyful.

ROBYN
Robyn is a Standardbred Cross with a very sweet and gentle personality. Currently in training, you’ll often see her grazing peacefully with the others. While she’s not yet ready to ride, she’s a wonderful example to watch, showing how horses learn and earn their jobs with patience and care.
